(To answer your question “are you going to keep X around?”: yes – same products just with different names and a different logo 😉). Today we’re excited to launch our first new SALTT product: Daily Capsules.
What are the SALTT Daily Capsules?
SALTT Daily Capsules are the Daily Minerals Drops (developed in partnership with Dr. Ken Berry) put into capsule form. That way, you can simply swallow with water and not have to taste the (rather bitter) minerals.
This formula has a lot of potassium, magnesium, and sodium; but it also has other minerals that Dr. Berry recommends people supplement on a daily basis: selenium, chromium, molybdenum, boron, zinc, copper, manganese, and iodine.

How many capsules should I take a day? How does it compare to the liquid Daily Minerals?
To get the same amount of minerals via capsules as 1 tablespoon of the liquid, you need to take roughly 11 capsules. Let’s talk physical matter for a second. A full serving of the Keto Chow Daily Minerals (liquid) is 1 tablespoon or 15ml. That 15ml of super-saturated liquid minerals would fill 17 capsules, just to give you a comparison of the volume.
There is a LOT of actual stuff dissolved in that tablespoon. You can easily feel the weight difference of a container of water vs. the same container full of Daily Minerals due to those dissolved minerals, they have MASS. When you dry out the minerals into crystals – they take up nearly the same amount of volume as they did in the liquid.
We are using the same size capsules for the SALTT Daily capsules as our existing magnesium capsules (known as size 00 they’re 0.91ml each) – we could have gone for the larger 000 capsules but those are known as “horse pills”. We opted for the smaller, more manageable size.
OK, so we have to use a large quantity of capsules to physically fit the quantity of minerals – how many should you take each day? That’s going to be up to you. Dr. Berry recommends 8-12 capsules per day to get the amount of minerals he recommends people supplement. At that dosage, it’s nearly identical to taking 1 tablespoon of the liquid Daily Minerals. If you prefer less of the liquid per day, then you could use fewer capsules.
How many servings are in each bottle?
Each bottle has 240 capsules. We decided to make the “serving size” on the nutrition panel be 1 capsule because each person will take the quantity of capsules that suits them. That means those 240 capsules may last 60 days, or 21 days, or 35 days.

Capsules price vs. liquid drops price
The Daily Capsules are more expensive than the Daily Minerals in liquid form. Milligram of minerals to milligram of minerals, the capsules are close to double the price when compared to the liquid form. We were hoping to be able to get them a lot closer but drying, encapsulation, and packaging them mean that the capsules have added expenses.
There’s no denying it and there isn’t a way around it. We do still have, and will continue to have, the liquid Keto Chow Daily Minerals (though they will eventually be renamed as the same product just with a different brand logo) that you can continue using if you prefer the lower price point.
