Ingredients:
Biscuits
- 1/2 cup almond flour 59 g.
- 1 serving Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. salted butter cold (cubed)
- 4 large egg whites whisked with a fork
Gravy
- 1 lb. breakfast sausage
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes optional
- 1 1/2 cups water warm
- 2 servings Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Directions:
- To make the biscuits, preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together almond flour, Keto Chow, and baking powder.
- 1/2 cup almond flour, 1 serving Savory Chicken Soup Keto Chow, 1 tsp. baking powder
- Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your hands.
- 2 Tbsp. salted butter
- Add egg whites and mix until a dough forms. It will be lumpy from the cold butter.
- 4 large egg whites
- Form about two-inch rounds and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
- To make the gravy, cook sausage in a large skillet, breaking up with a spoon. When it is fully cooked, leave the fat in the pan and add the poultry seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Blend the Keto Chow with the warm water and slowly add to the sausage in the pan.
- Stir and gently scrape some of the cooked bits of sausage deliciousness off the bottom of the pan.
- Mix in the heavy cream and warm through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning according to personal preference.
- Serve over keto biscuits or with a cheese and onion omelet.
