Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 oz canned diced green chilis
- 14.5 oz canned diced tomatoes
- 1 serving Spicy Taco Base Keto Chow (or 1 scoop)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- your favorite taco toppings
Directions:
- Brown the beef on medium high heat. (I used my instant pot on sauté.)
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir together. Don’t worry about mixing in the cream cheese; it will melt as it cooks.
- Cook in crockpot or using a crockpot feature on high for 2 hours.
- Add all of your favorite taco toppings and serve.

Winner! Hubby asked me to make this again so you know it is good. Added a Tbl of Mexican cheese and tsp of sour cream.
I made this on the stove. This recipe is very forgiving. I did not have a 14 oz of tomatoes or a small can of chilis but I had a 10 oz can of diced tomatoes with chilis, so I used that and I added 2 cups of chicken broth. I also did not have cream cheese but had goat cheese so I used that along with the recommended spices but cut the salt back to 1/2 tsp. I also added 1 pkg of shirataki rice . It was a huge hit…even my non-keto family loved it. With the ground beef it is a very hearty soup!
